Nick's 4th birthday

One day we waited in Nick's room with water balloons until Matthew got home.  I texted Matthew to tell him we were outside, out back.  Nick's bedroom opens up directly over the deck.  When we saw him, we ambushed him with water balloons.  But while we were sneakily hiding underneath the window, Nick said, "Daddy is going to be so proud.....and then so mad."

Some funny things he has done lately:

He dumped out a bowl of cheerios and salt and peppered them on the kitchen floor

He dug a hole through a bar of soap in the bathroom

I watched him run up on the deck when he was playing outside, pee in a bucket, kick it over, and run back to whatever he was doing

Nick still loves animals, and can tell you pretty much every kind of animal.  His favorite game to play anytime is the "guess the animal" game.  He loves to read and be outside.  He has us laughing pretty much all the time.
