We visited Assateague Island in MD.  It was still a bit chilly.

There are wild horses on the island

There is a nature center there with a touching tank.  

We found an eater egg hunt on the beach for the kids

In National Harbor, MD they recently opened up a Ferris Wheel.  

This is a fun piece of art called "The Awakening".  It looks like a man is coming out of the ground.

The kids really enjoyed the Ferris Wheel- it was their first time.
