So, Matthew and I figured out why we like living in DC/Arlington so much. Despite having travelled a little bit, we really don't prefer to. It is fun once the destiniation is reached, but we are both kind of homebodies. The really great thing about living here is that we get to see cool stuff all the time and we don't have to drive, fly, or go through security. For instance, this last weekend we walked to the waterfront park (potomac river) and played frisbee. We walked around a little bit and found a museum dedicated entirely to Sweden. I think that countries rotate in and out of the displac center. I know what you are thinking...."What's so great about Sweden?" Let me tell you. We listened to some crazy music, were introduced to exotic new candies (no swedish fish...lame) and saw some VERY interesting costumes? Kind of "Heidiesque".
P.S. The family picture was taken at Matthew's office. It was bring your child to work day. Oh yeah, he got a new job, and it starts at the beginning of June. It is with the same company, just a different project. He will have more responibilities and will probably be able to to travel to Africa soon! If you recall, that was the whole reason we moved here. Although he HAS been giving much needed aid to people in the developing world, he will now get to travel a bit and see all the difference he is making in the world.

Congrats on the new position Matthew! Africa sounds fun.

It's kind of funny that Matthew wants to go to Africa, but he doesn't really like to travel. :)
Anyways, that is awesome that they are giving him more responsibilities and stuff.
It sounds like you guys have so much fun. You take the time to actually explore where you live, rather than trying to escape from it. That's great.
I love Ethan's smile. He is growing up so fast. Congratulations Matthew...keep up the good work!
How cute are you all!!! Ethan is adorable I love his chubby cheeks :)
