Since Ethan has been 5 months old, we have tried to interest him in books. We read for about an hour every day, and he loves it! We check out 7-10 new books every 2 weeks. I still have many books on my list that need reading too, and so we frequent the library often. It is a great way to teach him, and something we really enjoy together. Here, he is "reading" to himself. Then he figured out that slamming the book shut makes a cool noise:)
Ethan's first words besides, "Mom", "Dad", "hi", and "bye", have been "ball" and "basketball". We got him a hoop, and TONS of soft little balls. He does this for hours every day. He also enjoys, and can say: baseball, football, and soccer.
