Last Saturday we went to the annual Flower Mart at the National Cathedral. I always forget how beautiful it is.

They had a lot of fun things for kids to do on the grounds. There were mostly flowers and plants set up for people to purchase and vendors, but they made it really kid-friendly. I was surprised this was our first year even hearing about this. It rained a bit, but we were able to go inside the cathedral, which is always so beautiful. The acoustics are amazing...even just humming quietly anywhere inside, it carries and bounces off the walls.
It is hard not to smile on a carousel:)
